Guiding Principles

“Entrepreneurs are better fitted to provide sustainable developmental aid.”

This bold and provocative vision is both incentive and maxim for WiN=WiN. The private sector does not only bear a special responsibility, but also offers unique opportunities to promote economic structures, implement environmental protection measures and improve working conditions in emerging and developing countries. Our experience working in this field for more than 15 years has shown us that companies can be successful aid workers in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, and, at the same time, develop new lines of business, secure their supply chain and generate profits.

We always strive to create a WiN=WiN situation for our customers, their stakeholders and people in emerging and developing countries. Our entrepreneurial thinking and way of working is based on a canon of solid values and principles:

Customer orientation

We advise our customers on a basis of mutual trust, understand their needs and generate real, long-term value through our customized and high quality services. Based upon a well-defined value system our services are entirely for our client’s benefit.

Entrepreneurship

Helping people to help themselves – We promote entrepreneurship in emerging and developing countries, identify market opportunities, support innovative business concepts of our clients and assist with on-site implementation.

Integrity & Compliance

We not only adhere strictly to law and legislation, but are also advocates of doing the right thing: Our business activites and personal conduct are guided by highest ethical standards.

Sustainability

Economic, environmental and social interests of companies are not contradictory, but complementary. Our business model promotes the consistent respect for human rights, occupational safety and environmental protection.

Team spirit

Fairness and an atmosphere of mutual trust and honest commitment form the foundations of WiN=WiN‘s successful operation. These principles of fair interaction guide our actions.

Universal Values

The OECD Guidelines, the ILO core labor standards and the principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption are universal values for both ourselves as well as our customers.
